6th PhD Day "Future Bioeconomy"

September 28, 2021 | virtual

After five successful NRW-wide PhD Days on the topic of "Future Bioeconomy", this year the 6th NRW PhD Day will again take place as a full-day event on September 28, 2021. The aim of this meeting is to bring together young doctoral researchers from different scientific fields and locations in NRW and to provide them with a framework for networking and discussion on developments and future career paths in the bioeconomy. With this year's topic "Future Food - sustainable and efficient production", we want to convey to the PhD students how far-reaching the relevance of the topic "Bioeconomy in the Food Industry" is for science and industry. It addresses questions such as: Sustainable provision and use of food resources, process optimization in production, also by using residual streams, biotechnological extraction of food ingredients, novel food and acceptance strategies, etc..
